Tyrone Nicholas McCadney, age 34, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 22nd, 2010 at his home. He was born July 22nd, 1975 to Sam and Ella Mae (Divinity) McCadney in Toledo. Tyrone was a 1993 graduate of E.L. Bowsher High School where he competed in Track and Field, High Jumping. After graduating he went on to attend Owens Community College and worked in food service management.
Tyrone was affectionately known to family and friends as "Eat It" "Peepers" or "Boodlums". He was a kind-hearted, down to earth person with a great sense of humor. Tyrone was a creative and talented music lover who started writing rap songs at a very young age and performed throughout the city at several area talent shows and clubs. His favorite dance was "The Carlton." He was a football fan whose favorite team was the Washington Redskins. Tyrone also enjoyed bowling, fishing at Sterling State Park and spending time with friends and family, especially his children whom he loved dearly.
Tyrone is survived by his loving parents, Sam and Ella Mae (Divinity) McCadney; children, Tyrone "Man Child" Nicholas McCadney, Jr. and Tyra "Little Pretty" Michelle McCadney; siblings Parnice (Roosevelt) Andrews of Dacula, GA; Denyce Calvin; Lynnette (George, Jr.) Hair; Samuel McCadney and twin sister, Tanya Nicole McCadney. Tyrone is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday from 1-3:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Minister George Hair, Jr.
