Tyna M. Darnell

Tyna M. Darnell, age 35, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1977 to Jon and Kandy (Keeling) Darnell in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Tyna loved music and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone; evident in the countless friends she had. Tyna loved animals and enjoyed fostering them as well. She was a very devoted to her family, especially to her son Jonathan. Tyna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kyra; her mother, Kandy in September 2012; and her grandparents. Tyna is survived by her loving son, Jonathan Wittman; husband, Ryan Wittman; father, Jon Darnell; sister and best friend, Lindsey (Chris) Bialy; nephews, Lucas, Christopher and Cash; grandfather, William Keeling; uncles, Mike, Mark (Shelly), Bob (Cheryl), Steve (Nancy), Matt (Sandy) and Ron (Tracy); aunt, Sue Keeling; mother-in-law, Connie (Jay) Cherry; and the entire Fisher and Mitchell families; special friends, Kymm, Sonya and Ashley; and many cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will take place Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe St., Toledo.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at the Toledo Hospital on the CICU floor for all of their love and care given to Tyna and her family through this difficult time.
