Tyler (Ty) Cody Mitchell Menacher has left us unexpectedly on the early morning of Friday June 30th at the young age of 24. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Tyler attended Roy C. Start High School, where he became a face to many who call him a friend today. Tyler at an early age showed a love for people. His empathy and compassion for those around him, especially his mother, was well known by those that knew him.
Tyler had a remarkable sense of humor, he loved making those around him laugh no matter what life was throwing at him. He was gifted with a mind that challenged the things around him. Always fighting for the weaker link, Tyler didn't give up on those he loved. Tyler had a zest for life especially when he was on the field. His love for football started when he joined and played for the Whittier Jets (#13) for 8 years. Along with football he liked to play basketball, he taught his little brother bubba how to play on summer nights. Tylers love for music was like no other, his favorite rapper XXXTentacion got him through a lot of trying times. He had a great love for watching scary movies, and playing resident evil growing up as a form of quality time with his mother Nichole, who he was always there for. No matter the time of day or night Tyler enjoyed talking on the phone. He could keep you there for hours, always entertaining the conversation with stories. His greatest accomplishment in life was being a loving father to his 2 year old daughter, Lyailah, whom he would have done anything and everything for.
Tyler leaves behind his daughter that he cherished and loved dearly, Lyailah. His loving parents, Nichole Menacher (step dad Rob Black) & Dave Mitchell; his dear siblings, Marissa Shadler, Kayla Keeler (kk), Dylan (Bubba), Kincade, & Cheyenne Mitchell; grandparents Darrell Steltenpohl & Mary Steltenpohl (James); his aunts and uncles, Mike & Tina (James) Gemberling, Amanda (Tom) Webber, Billy James as well as his nephew ky'ron. He also leaves behind several loving friends.
May he lay to rest and be with his first love and best friend Precious where we pray his heart is finally at peace. We thank you all for your love, support, words, donations and patience during this difficult time.
Tyler, we aren't angry at you love, you're the greatest thing we've lost. Matthew 11:28
