Tyler S. Herman

Tyler S. "Ty" Herman, age 21, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. He was born on August 20, 2002 to Steven and Geraldine (Louviaux) Herman in Maumee, Ohio. Ty attended Bowsher High School. He worked as an equipment operator at Champion "CCSI" for over 2 years. Ty had a passion for cars and riding his motorcycle. He was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Ty was a hard worker, liked "picking fights" with his younger brother and spending time with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor, was a prankster and enjoyed blaming his brothers for everything. Most importantly, Ty loved being a dad; he was devoted to his daughter and bonus daughters. His smile, and care free spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Darrell and Jackie Herman. Left to cherish Ty's memory are his loving parents; dad, Steven Herman; mom, Gerri (Tim) Herman; daughter, Kynlee Herman and baby boy Kayson on the way; longtime girlfriend, Taylor Delaney, and her daughters, Raylynn and Alaiyah; siblings, Aly (Hunter), Nathan (Abby), Zack, Stevielynn, and Jackie; niece, Novaleigh; grandma, Helena Louviaux; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300).

A Celebration of Life will take place for Tyler at the IBEW Local Union Hall #245, 705 Lime City Rd., Rossford, OH 43460 from 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. following the funeral home gathering Friday.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider his family for his children.
