Travis J. White

Travis J. White, age 77, passed away on June 30, 2024. He was born on January 27, 1947 to the late Lucille White in Cullman, Alabama. He was Corporal in the United States Marine and served in the Vietnam War. As an owner/ operator of a trucking business, and team driver with his significant other of 30 years Kathy Creekmore, Travis traveled the country he so loved. They enjoyed sites in almost all the 48 contiguous states, as well Canada and Mexico, and had many adventures before retiring in 2006. Travis loved fast cars, especially his 1984 Corvette, music, and spoiling his grandsons.

Travis was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Lucille; cousin and best friend, Ernie White. Travis is survived by his son, Shea Cook; significant other, Kathy Creekmore; step-children Amy L. Creekmore (Ray Stacy), John M. Creekmore III, and Jenny (Aaron) Smith; grandsons, Bennett and Corbin; brother, Elvis Laminack; Cousins Rochelle White, Gina White, Jamie (Tony) Burgy, Brian (Nicole) White, JR White, Marilyn (Leo) Maidlow, and Butch (Donna) Freeman and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday July 6, 2024 from 10 am – 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH with Funeral Services beginning at noon.
