It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Lamont Glenn Jr., who left this world on April 17, 2025, at the age of 35, in Northwood, Ohio. Born on November 20, 1989, in Toledo, Ohio, Tracy’s vibrant spirit touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Tracy was a remarkable individual known for his incredible work ethic. He worked at various places throughout his life, and his most recent role was as a roofer with Lumbee Exteriors LTD, where he demonstrated his dedication and commitment to excellence in every task he undertook.
A proud graduate of the Maritime Academy, class of 2008, Tracy's accomplishments extended beyond his professional life. He was a loving father to his children, Tracy Lamont Glenn III and Nevaeh Renae Glenn, whom he cherished deeply. Tracy's positive outlook on life and goofy disposition made him a source of joy and laughter; his children reminisce fondly about his ability to bring smiles to their faces. The family will forever hold dear the memory of his infectious laughter and the warm presence he brought into any room.
Tracy had a profound love for sports, particularly for the Dallas Cowboys and University of Michigan football. In addition to his enthusiasm for sports, he had a passion for cooking, with his daughter Nevaeh often recalling his famous chicken. Music was also a significant part of Tracy's life; he enjoyed listening to it and even took the time to create his own rap music, showcasing his artistic side.
His kindness and compassion extended to all he knew, making him a cherished friend. Tracy was not only a loving son to his mother Claudia Kemp and her husband Randy but also a devoted son to Tracey Lamont Glenn Sr. He leaves behind his siblings, including Johnny Parnell III and his wife Ashley Martin, Trayvon Glenn, Constance Glenn, Christiana Glenn and her husband Branden Willis, Chloe Glenn, and host of other nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Tracy also shared a special bond with his late little brother, Travis Glenn, and cousin, Carol Voss, and brother-in-law Louis Means.
Tracy Lamont Glenn Jr. will be remembered not just for his accomplishments but for the love he had for his family and friends, and the profound impact he had on their lives. His legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
