Tony Hernandez, age 62, passed away on February 22, 2019. He was born on April 7, 1956 to the late Betty and John Hernandez in Wauseon, Ohio.
Tony was a dedicated father who raised his four children. He was a loving brother and adoring grandpa. Tony will be remembered as someone who liked to laugh and make people smile. He enjoyed golfing, Bingo, fishing, bowling and softball. Tony looked forward to having his family over for barbeques. He didn't have to tell you he cared, he just showed it.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tony (Amanda) Hernandez Jr., Alena Hernandez, Gavino (Jessy) Hernandez, Nicolas (Taylor) Hernandez; brother, John (Sharon) Hernandez; grandchildren, Antonio, Aryana, Victoria, Gavino Jr., Ivan and Owen. Tony was preceded by his parents; siblings, Joseph, Victoria and Virginia.
The family will receive guests on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 4-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
