Tomy Diaz

Tomy Diaz, age 40, passed away on August 9, 2024. He was always known for putting a smile on people’s faces, especially his family. Tomy spent his free time with his dogs, playing poker and spending time with his children and nieces and nephews. 

Tomy struggled with addiction and found it challenging to find his way back to God, if his story can help one person that’s all his family can hope for. Please keep those struggling with addiction in your thoughts and prayers. 

He is survived by his mother, Damaysi; siblings, Taimy, Emilio, Lee, Moises, and Roberto; children, Nelly, Kamila, and Kai. He also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews. 

Tomy was preceded in death by his father, Tanis; cousin, Carlos; grandparents, Ernesto and Josefa; and uncle, Carlos.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home -  4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614.

Tomy will be laid to rest at Lake Twp Cemetery in Millbury, OH.
