Tom Robinson

Tom Robinson, a cherished resident of Maumee, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on October 27, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, Tom dedicated his life to his family, career, and passions.

Throughout his professional journey, Tom was a talented welder fabricator with Boilermakers Local 85. His commitment to his craft earned him a reputation as a respected figure in his field, and he was well liked by his colleagues for the dedication and quality of his work. After retiring, Tom maintained his connection to the community by contributing his time and skills at the Fallen Timbers Golf Club.

Beyond his professional life, Tom had a serious demeanor that complemented his love for a good joke. A meticulous caretaker, he took great pride in maintaining his cars and boats thru out his life, particularly his beloved Corvettes—having owned models from '59, '79, and most recently, '99. His passion for cars was further enriched through his association with the Glass City Corvettes Club, where he derived much joy alongside his wife, Barb, and their friends.

Tom's heart was deeply intertwined with his family. He was married to Barb Robinson for 63 wonderful years, sharing a partnership full of love and devotion. He was a proud grandfather to Zachary Robinson and his wife Megan, as well as a great-grandfather to Jaxton Robinson. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Pam Corasaniti, along with a host of extended family members and close friends from the local community, including those associated with the American Legion Post 320 and the Maumee Eagles. His spirit will always remain with those who knew him.

Throughout his life, Tom showed unwavering love for his family, particularly during the challenges he faced after the passing of his sons, Mark Robinson and Brian Robinson. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, embodying the values of strength and perseverance. Tom was not just seen as a good person; he was genuinely cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The visitation for Tom will take place on February 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery in Toledo, Ohio. He will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by his family and friends.
