Todd Renee Walker

Todd R. Walker, age 53, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 10, 2016. He was born on July 30, 1963 to Lieutenant and Martha (Thomas) Walker in Toledo, OH. Todd was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School and most recently was a chef at Lourdes University where he impacted many employees, students and family members lives. Todd had a love for music and singing and most precious to him was his children and grandchildren. He married the love of his life, Tonia (Reece) Walker on July 6, 1998 in Tampa, FL and together they have three wonderful children.

Todd appreciated his family, especially his mother and his brothers, they shared a close kinship. His family will always remember him for his caring way and outgoing personality. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Tonia; children, Mieasha (Derek) Barksdale, Kiesha Hughes and Darrin Hughes; grandchildren, Kimora, Brooklynn, Landon and Kendall; mother, Martha Walker; siblings, Kevin, Darren and Dean Walker; aunt, Betty Jacobs; mother in law, Vernsel Jackson; sisters in law, Sabrina Reece and Jean Shoulders; brother in law, Terry Reece; many uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, dear friends and his Lourdes University family.

The family will receive guests on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). His Homegoing Service will begin in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow.
