Todd J Baldwin

Todd J Baldwin , age 54, of Toledo unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023. He was born June 6, 1969 to Henry and Shirley Baldwin (O'Brien) in Wauseon, Ohio.

Todd graduated from Evergreen High School in 1987 and The University of Toledo with a double Bachelor's degree in 1991. He also attended medical school at Wright State University but decided to forgo a medical career and entered into his long career in Logistics and Sourcing, working for Owens Corning, Hickory Farms, NSG and most recently for Burkett Restaurant Equipment.

Todd was preceded in death by his father Henry Baldwin. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 21 years Cathy (Grabowski) and his entire world wrapped into one mini-me package, his son Finn, along with his best friend, the family dog Luna. He is also survived by his mother Shirley, his brother Laurence and sister Katrinka, and the Grabowski, Biggs, Crawford, Konczal & Dominique families and many wonderful friends.

Todd enjoyed woodworking and building things with his hands. He has left behind so many beautiful pieces of art for his family to hold as special heirlooms in the years to come. Todd loved the beach and his favorite hobby was scuba diving, with over 100 dives completed throughout the Caribbean and places as far away as the Galapagos Islands and Hawaii. Earlier this year he helped Finn get his diving license at the age of 10 and they dove several sites together off the island of Curacao. Todd was also an animal-lover. There wasn't a dog or cat that didn't take to him immediately -we all called him the "Dog/Cat Whisperer". In his spare time at home he enjoyed going to Finn's various sporting events, multiple daily walks with Luna, swimming in the summer, reading, cooking, watching movies and he never missed an episode of Jeopardy.

The family will receive friends at the Newcomer Funeral Home 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. on Sunday, November 26th from 2:00-4:30pm with a prayer service at 4:30pm.
