Tina Y. Martin

Tina Y. "Toots" Martin, age 59, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania. She was born on April 25, 1958 to Prentice Rigsby and Jean (Rosendual) Leitch in Toledo. On July 19, 1975 she married the love of her life, John C. "Spook" Martin, Sr. in Sylvania Township. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, reading, arts and crafts with her grandkids and camping. Above everything, most important and precious to her was her family. She always put their needs before her own and was a truly an amazing woman and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 45 years, John C. "Spook" Martin, Sr.; children, Jaime Martin, Nickeia Martin (fiancé, Eric Underwood) and Amber (Craig Cluley) Martin; 14 precious grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; mother, Jean Leitch; siblings, Tammy Hoyt, Jean and Shawn Leitch; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father; son, John C. Martin, Jr. and grandma, Valley Kimball.

The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
