Timothy Matthew Schoch

Timmy Schoch, of Toledo, Ohio, died unexpectedly on May 29. Born July 27, 1959 to Bernetta and Frank Schoch, he was the youngest of 5 children. If you knew Timmy, you knew how big of a heart he had. Many would come to seek his help in fixing their vehicles, as he was a certified mechanic. With his non-stop sense of humor, you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. He would follow up a funny comment with his "he he he" laugh. When posing for pictures, he would often lift up his "butt" chin to the camera with a half-smile. He was an excellent story teller and liked to embellish things, but you were not sure if you should believe him or not, as he always kept a serious face. Although he liked to get his hands greasy with tinkering with cars, his true passion was baking. He would always tell those who asked, and even those who didn't ask, he was a seventh-generation master baker. However, we can only account for four generations. Not only did he bake, he liked to cook. He was always experimenting with different recipes, and was known in his family for his famous nachos. Timmy was always happy to help out a friend, but his main concern was his family. He felt that family was the important thing in life.

Left behind to mourn his loss are his siblings, Robert Schoch, Christine (Tim) Bevins and Janine (Dennis) Losek, many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Timmy's passing will leave a deep hole in the heart of those of loved him. We will treasure and keep the memories you left us with and you will be forever in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, John.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at UTMC for their loving care in the treatment of Timmy. Timmy had much respect for the medical staff at UTMC.

There will be a celebration of Timmy's life, Friday, June 4, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) where a Sharing of Memories will begin Friday at 5:00 p.m.
