Thomas A. Wilhelm Sr.
March 15, 1943 — February 12, 2022
Thomas A. Wilhelm Sr., age 78, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 15,1943, in Portland, Indiana, to the late George and Wanda (Hiatt) Wilhelm.
Tom graduated from Whitmer High School. He had worked as a truck driver for over 40 years, which he enjoyed doing. Tom was the owner of TNT Precision Lawn Care, where he did landscaping and snow removal, with his son. A faithful servant first to his heavenly Father and second to those in need, he was very passionate about the Lord. He was the music director of Manhattan and Northpoint Church of the Nazarene for many years. A family man, he cherished the moments spent with his family and those that he adopted as part of his family. Known as having a wonderful sense of humor, Tom loved making silly faces and making others' laugh. Tom was a big fan of watching westerns, especially with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood and watching hours of Swaggart Ministries.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving children, Brenda (Barry) Stotler, Charles Wilhelm, and Thomas (Karen) Wilhelm Jr.; grandchildren, Destiny, Brenda, Cassandra, Andrew, Sean, Serena, Kaitlin, Kelsey, and Zachary; great grandchildren, Milo and Storm; siblings, Sharon (Charlie) Folkhart, Lois (Arvid) Moin, and Edward (Sandy) Wilhelm; and his furry companion, Sheree.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Charles and David Wilhelm; and his first wife and mother of his children, Rita (Wilhelm) Roenick.
Family and friends may visit at Northpoint Church of the Nazarene, 5825 Suder Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43611, on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at the church, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Donna Ebanks and Rev. Kyle Baker officiating.
