Thomas R. Vandorn

Thomas R. VanDorn, age 89, of Toledo, passed away April 2, 2017. He was born June 8, 1927 to the late Raymond and Ethel VanDorn. He was proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WWII. Tom enjoyed dancing and was a life time member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was the Ohio State Buckeyes #1 fan, also a diehard Browns fan.
Tom was a devoted family man, now joining his loving wife, of 66 years, Geraldine. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Lynn (Dennis) Burden, Susan (Morrie) VanDorp, Janet (Tim) Yingling and Kay (Steve) Fox; grandchildren, Dani Lyn, Molli, Tom, Katrina, Ben, Jon, Neely, Zachary, Joe and Alex; and twelve great-grandchildren.
The family will have a Celebration of Life ceremony for both Thomas and Geraldine later in the year.
