Thomas James Turner
Thomas J. "Tommy" Turner, age 65, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 in Heartland of Browning, Waterville, OH. He was born October 27, 1939 in Wynne, AK to Thomas A. and Aleen (Anderson) Turner. Tommy served his country in the U. S. Army and had joined the Free Mason's while stationed in Alaska. He retired from Daimler-Chrysler in 2004.
Preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother and son, Jeffrey Turner Tommy is survived by his children; Dennis, Shaun, Shanell and Tara Turner, grandchildren; Alonna, Jeffrey, Jr., Giovanni and Denna Turner, sister; Ludie Campbell, several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests after 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005 in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Road, (419-473-0300) where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Rev. John Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In honor of Tommy's wishes, memorial contributions can be given to his church, Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church, 2102 Mulberry St., Toledo, OH 43608. Expressions of sympathy may be made at
