Thomas T. Tucholski

Thomas "Uncle Tom" Tucholski, age 93, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Swan Creek Retirement Center, Toledo, Ohio. He was born April 22, 1920 in Toledo to Joseph A. and Tillie (Michalak) Tucholski. Tom was employed by the Kellermeyer Company in the Shipping Department for many years, and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a parishioner of the former St. Jude Church and current parishioner of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at his cottage. Tom's greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his sister, Peggy Bicanovsky and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph, Albion and Richard Tucholski, Mary Durfy and Rita Krieger.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. The family will also receive guests Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hyacinth Church Parkside Blvd. at Victory.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or St. Hyacinth Church.
