Thomas R. Shultz

Thomas R. Shultz, age 83, of Toledo, OH passed away November 11, 2024 at Genacross Lutheran Services at Wolfcreek. He was born August 1, 1941 in Fairmont, West Virginia to Thomas Shultz and Beatrice (Pethtel) Hause. Tom was employed as a die caster for the former Doehler Jarvis for 32 years, retiring in 2000. He was a life long hockey fan especially the Toledo Walleye, Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs. He also enjoyed watching the car races at Oak Shade. 

 Tom was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sharon Shultz; sons, Scott Shultz and Todd (Julie) Shultz; grandsons, Hayden Shultz and Cole Shultz; and brother, William "Dave" Shultz and numerous cousins.

The family will receive guests Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer- SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Tom's memory.
