Thomas J. Rokicki

Thomas J. "Robo" Rokicki, age 59, of Toledo, passed away suddenly after a lengthy illness with diabetes on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. He was born on February 11, 1957 to Steven and Florence (Mientkiewicz) Rokicki in Toledo. For most of Tom's life he was a talented carpenter and a member of Local 1138 Carpenters Union. He loved working with his hands and was known to fix just about anything. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol, on May 22, 1982 in Toledo. Tom was a loving and devoted father of two and an avid Ohio State fanatic.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 34 years, Carol (Dunlap) Rokicki; children, Jamie Rokicki and Andrew Rokicki (fiancée Brittany Walton); sister, Eileen (John) Lewandowski and furry grandpets, Dozer, Daisy and Claudia. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 3-7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
