Thomas L. Reneau

Thomas L. "Tom" Reneau, Age 74, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on, Wednesday May 25,2022. He was born June11,1947, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Lee T. and Luella (Collins) Reneau.

Tom graduated High School, class of 1967. Following graduation, he served with the U.S Army In South Carolina. Tom married his sweetheart, Kathy Sue, in July of 1968; they celebrated just shy of 54 years of marriage. Tom was a volunteer for hospice, and also worked for the City of Toledo water department for many years. He was a loyal member of his local VFW post. Thomas had a passion for sports. He was a huge OSU football fan and a Detroit Tigers baseball fan. He was a collector of many things such as Baseball cards, Three Stooges memorabilia, coins, and many others. He was known for his silly, witty sense of humor; he could make anyone laugh or smile. He loved to play the harmonica; make Daffy Duck noises; and sing wonderful songs to us all. Thomas loved to spend time with his grandchildren/ great grandchildren. He always created the best memories with them all. He also loved God and praised him everyday for his blessings.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Lee; his mother, Luella; and his brother, Jerry.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; sister, Barb Grycza; daughter, Linda (Steve); sons, Chris (Sunny), David, Kurt (Stef), and Timothy; and tons of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a Parkinson's Foundation or to the Reneau family.
