Thomas R. Binns

Thomas R. "Tom" Binns, age 62, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek where he was surrounded by his loving sisters. He was born on July 13, 1951 to Floyd and Dorothy (Wynocker) Binns in Toledo. Tom worked at Toledo Beaver Tool and most recently at Haughton Elevator Company. His family will remember him as a loving son, brother and uncle and he enjoyed spending time with them, especially his great nieces and great nephews. Tom was a devoted Cleveland Indian's fan and in general was a sports enthusiast.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Lois Patterson, Marcia Burns and Debbie (Rich) Mickle; nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Sherry, Dawn, Scott, Richie, Michael (Tina), Michelle, Bobby, Shawn and Jennifer (Kevin) Foos; great nieces and great nephews, Yasmeen, Jordan, Myah, Ethan and Shelby. Also surviving are three daughters, Stacey, Amy and Kim. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery.

The family would like to specially thank the nurses and staff at Lutheran Village age Wolf Creek and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their diligent care and love that they provided to Tom and to his family.
