Thomas J. O'Leary

Thomas J. "Tom" O'Leary, age 66, of Toledo, passed away July 9, 2017 at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital with his loving niece by his side. He was born on October 13, 1950 to John J. and Frances M. (Losie) O'Leary in Toledo. Tom resided at the Everwood Group home an affiliate with Anne Grady Center for many years. He loved cats, Santa Claus and spending time with his family and friends. Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin sisters, Francie Ann and Nancy Jean; nephews, Jamie L. Houstin and Michael J. O'Leary; great-nephew, Stephen S. Veres. Tom is survived by his loving siblings, Patricia (John) Finneran-Baker, Judith O'Leary, John (Becky) O'Leary, twin brother, Timothy O'Leary, Daniel (Sandy) O'Leary, Kathleen Houstin and Terry (Laurie) O'Leary; uncle, Ronald (Shirley) DeLosie; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends through Anne Grady Centers.

The family will receive guests on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers with Everwood Group Home for all of their love, care and support given to Tom and his family through this time and his time at Everwood.
