Thomas L. Williams

Thomas L. "Tom" Williams, age 57, of Whitehouse, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 19, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 10, 1956 to John Sr. and Evelyn (Davenport) Williams in Toledo. Tom enjoyed working on cars, was a collector of many things, camping and animals. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and brother, Timothy Williams. Tom is survived by his mom, Evelyn "Eve" Williams; siblings, John, Jr. (Christine), Jeff, Chris (Rayetta) Williams and Dawn (Randy) Hillary; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Memorial Mass will take place Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo. Inurnment will be private.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at Dana Cancer Center, at UTMC and Hospice of Northwest Ohio, especially Mandy, for all of their love, care and support given to Tom and his family through this difficult time.
