Thomas C. "T.K." Keil, age 82, of Toledo, passed away peacefully September 23, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital with loving family by his side. He was born on January 12, 1939 to Irving and Virginia Keil in Toledo. T.K. worked at Rudolph Libbe for many years before retiring. He was the owner/operator of Keil & Sons Auto Body shop with his son, Jeff. T.K. was a huge car and motorcycle enthusiast and was a fan of all forms of racing. He was an avid sports fan, especially of The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns and was a converted Packers fan. He was a lifetime member of The Centurions, often bragging he was the oldest member. T.K. had a great sense of humor that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Keil; and son, Jason Heal. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 22 years, Lisa Keil; children, Jeff (Robin Laugerman-Cole) Keil, Tammy (Joe) Wherle, Mark Keil, Ricky Keil, Amanda (Mike) Cravens, and Debbie Carnes Scarrott; grandchildren, Damon (Diane) Keil, Makayla LaTour, Mallory Cravens, and Sam Cravens; great-grandchildren, Freyja and Sterling Keil; sister, Joan Kalinoski; sister-in-law, Vicki Keil; canine babies, Boots, Coco and Little Bits; nieces and nephews, Bobby (Debbie) Kalinoski, Craig (Lora) Keil, Billy (Tonya) Kalinoski, Andy (Stephanie) Kalinoski, and Shannon (Shawn) Keil-Collum; and many other family members and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
