Thomas J. Phillips Sr.

Thomas J. "Tom" Phillips Sr., age 68 of Toledo passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the Veterans Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born June 16, 1942 to Edmund and Lucille (Schwartz) Phillips in Toledo. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. His family will remember him as a simple, giving family man who was kind to all animals that he took under his care.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Barbara (Christopher) Freeman and Thomas J. Phillips Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Donaldson; brothers, Terry, Gary, Donald and Edmund Phillips. Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Donna Lucille Phillips; sister, Mildred Salisbury and brother, Duane Phillips.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Phillips Family.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in the early summer.
