Thomas B. Holmes

Thomas Baron Holmes, age 45, of Toledo, passed away November 27, 2018 at Heritage Village of Waterville. Thomas was born January 27, 1973 in Toledo to Thomas L. and Imogene (McCullough) Holmes. Thomas was a graduate of Macomber Whitney Vocational Technical High School in 1991. He received a journalism scholarship to University of Toledo from Channel 13 news. He then changed paths and started his career at Chrysler where he continued for 23 years. Thomas attended Worship Center under Bishop Pat McKinstry and a member of UAW Local 12. He loved all things sports, especially the Eagles and the Lakers. As the only boy, he was the self proclaimed favorite. He was a protector of all his family.

Thomas was dedicated back to God and raised in our home church of Trinity Faith Tabernacle by our late Pastor Mother Mary Francis Jones.

He was preceded in death by his father. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Imogene Holmes, sisters, Crystal L. Pamplin, Carmen L. (Cyril) Day, Portia L. Holmes; nephews, Brandon (Rhatasha), Kyle; nieces, Breanne (T.), Brooke, Briona, five great nieces and one great nephew. He leaves a host of special friends he called his brothers.

We would like to acknowledge someone very special to Thomas and the family, Latonia Latimer, for her care and support.

The family will receive guests Monday, December 3, 2018 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Worship Center, 2204 Collingwood Blvd Toledo, OH 43620. Funeral Services will begin Monday at 12:00 pm. at the church. Newcomer - SW Chapel (419-381-1900) is assisting the family with arrangements
