Thomas L. Fleming of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Genacross Wolf Creek, in Holland, at the age of 84 years. He was born on November 17, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, to Clayton Earl and Ruby (Johnson) Fleming.
He graduated from Woodward High School. Thomas began working at the White Hut Restaurants in Toledo, as a teenager and then, joined the Army in his mid-twenties. When he returned home from the Army, he went back to work at the White Hut Restaurants and eventually became the owner, until his retirement in 1981. He quickly found retirement wasn't for him and began working at the Chesterfield Laundromat on Secor Road in Toledo for many years.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his children, Tricia Fleming, Tracey (Tony) Holliday and Bryant Fleming; grandchildren, Rayann (Danny) Keivens, Nicole (Andrew) Bowles, Michael Gibbons, Jr., Austin Fleming and Nathan Holliday; great-grandchildren, Hunter Keivens, Parker Keivens, Lydia Bowles and Madalynn Bowles; sister, Roxine Heinze; brother, James Valier and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Rose); siblings, Lee Ashby, Betty Siglow, Carrier Dick and Jacqueline Edwards.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, May 27, 2022, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, where a memorial service will take place at 12:00 pm with Reverend Gregory Olsen officiating. Following the memorial, Thomas will be laid to rest next to his wife at Restlawn Memorial Park in Perrysburg.
