Thomas E. Adams

Thomas E. "Tom" Adams, age 81, of Toledo, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2015 at his home. He was born on March 30, 1933 to Thomas and Bulah (Holt) Adams in Collinwood, TN. Tom proudly worked for Kraft/Nabisco for 39 ½ years as the locomotive driver for the grain mill.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Patricia (Bob) Vermilyea and son, Thomas (Paula) Adams; four granddaughters; one grandson; six great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; two brothers; four sisters and canine companions, Buster and Liberty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Millie Adams and sister, Jean Staggs.

The family will receive guests on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at Noon. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
