Thomas P. Byersmith

Thomas P. "Pete" Byersmith, resident of Northwood, OH, passed away October 31, 2023 at age 83. Son of the late Fred and Evelyn (Toska) Byersmith. Beloved husband of Sharon (Harding) Byersmith. Father of Julie (Joel) Whitmore, Sandy (Vic) Miller and Karen (Chad) Quigley. Grandfather of Brittany, Carly, Mickey, Sean, Ben, Megan and Melody. Great grandfather of Leah, Lauren, Aubrie and Grayson. Brother of Paul (Terry) Byersmith. Pete is also survived by his loyal canine companion, Fred.

Pete worked for GM Hydramatic/Powertrain for over 40 years, retiring in 2000. Pete was a loyal Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in the old Southend. Pete was a football coach for Darby and was active in all church festivals. He especially loved luring people over to the dunk tank and would raise record amounts of money for the church!

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 434 Eastern Ave, Toledo, OH 43609
