Theo Hill, Iii

Theo "Pig" Hill, III, age 66, of Toledo passed away suddenly, Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009 at his home. He was born May 3rd, 1943 to Detlo Staton and Victoria Hill in Monroe, Louisiana. Theo was employed with Chrysler for 22 years. He was a longtime member of Warren AME Church and a devoted father and grandfather, cherishing the time spent with his family and friends. Theo was also an auto enthusiast, enjoying buying cars and keeping them looking polished at all times.

In addition to his father, Detlo Staton, Theo was preceded in death by his grandson, Antonio Rogers; sister, Gloria Hill and grandparents, Theo and Cleo Hill, Sr. He is survived by his loving children, Rosalind; Marvin; Kristi; Aaron; Anthony and Charles; grandchildren, Orrin; Ronnekwa; Rashane; Anthony Jr.; Jerra; Shalyse; Natasha; Elston; Trevon; jayvon and Wesley; mother, Victoria Scott; siblings, Denise; Liddell (Cookie) and Zenobia; uncles, Lonnie (Dorothy); Levi (Barbara); Theo (Ella) and Cleo (Rose) and a host of extended family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Warren AME Church, 915 Collingwood Blvd. with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Otis Gordon, officiant. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
