Thelma Taylor, age 96, passed away on April 10, 2015. She was born on October 25, 1918 to the late Emma and William Parker in Lima, Ohio.
Thelma married Ora Taylor on the 4th of July. They shared 68 years together before he passed in 2004. She is survived by her son, Randal (Donna); daughter, Kaylyn; grandchildren, Chad, Joy (Gareth) Dolan, Wade (Kalyn) and David (Jamis) True; 7 great-grandchildren.
Thelma was the first resident of Lakes of Monclova. She enjoyed golf, bowling, playing cards and gambling. Thelma retired from General Mills after 30 years of service. She was a member of Hampton Park Christian Church and Giant Oak Golf Course.
The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
