Thelma Jean Fisher, age 74, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 24, 1947 to Delmar and Stella Brown in Puxico, Missouri. Thelma attended Puxico High School and later earned her degree in business at West Central Tech in Carrollton, Georgia. She was a Para Professional in kindergarten for many years at Bill Arp Elementary in Douglasville, Georgia and Hogansville Elementary in Hogansville, Georgia.
Thelma was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to us all. She was an avid gardener. Thelma loved getting her hands in the dirt on a nice sunny day, whether pulling weeds or potting a new flower. She also loved crocheting, quilting and sewing. Thelma was a very good advice giver, whether you wanted to hear it or not!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fisher; bonus mom, Elsie Brown; and Big brother, Ed.
Left to cherish Thelma's memory are her very spoiled pets, Willie and Allie; daughters, Jennifer Wilson and Susan Satterfield; very special friend, Larry Lane; brothers and sisters, Shirley (Denny) Teets, Roger (Karen) Brown, Josie Grimes and Tiny Brown; grandchildren, Tiffiany, Cameron, Cody, Nicolas and Brandi; great-grandchildren, Maci, Mason, Connor, Kinley, Carley, Oliver and Pandora; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
