Terry Young

Terry L. Young, age 56 of Toledo passed away Monday, December 1, 2003 in his home. He was born October 26, 1947 to Russell and Anna Bell (Spencer) Young in Boonville, Indiana. Terry was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was employed with Detroit Edison for 23 years. He enjoyed golfing, scuba diving, hockey and photography.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Arlan Young. He is survived by his children, Shawna (Scott) Meeker; Erik (Tricia) Young and Misty Young; grandchildren, Tim; Casey; Dylan; Kelsi; Skylar; Violet and Doren Carter; sisters, Doris (Jack) Chick and Marilyn (Paul) Garrison and dear friends, Kathy Brazon and others at Detroit Edison.

The family will receive guests Friday from 2-4 and 6-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. the First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo, 6520 Pilliod Rd., Springfield Township. Officiating will be Dr. David W. Anderson. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church.
