Terry Lyn Estis

Terry Lyn Estis, better known as Ted, was born to the late Emite and Ossie B. Estis on July 14, 1960. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, April 06, 2024 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He received Christ at an early age. At the time of his passing and for several years prior, he was an active member of The Amazing Grace Christian Center.

Terry was educated in the Toledo Public School System, receiving his GED in 1997. He worked several jobs throughout his lifetime including positions with E.O.P.A, OCP Contractors, the Inverness Club and as a barber just to name a few.

He was an avid Boston Celtics and Miami Dolphins fan. He loved the bible. Terry enjoyed spending his time reading the word and knew the bible from beginning to end. He would quote a scripture at any given time.

Terry leaves to cherish his memory his children, Terrence Estis, Demitria Estis, and Ratajá Estis; grandchildren, Amari Estis, Aryanna Estis and Mitchell Jackson IV; special friend and the mother of his children, Lucresha Griswold; sisters Verlin, Barbara, and Teresa and brother, Alvin Estis; special niece, Shalonda Smith and her children, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at Amazing Grace Christian Center located at 2409 Airport Hwy Toledo, OH 43609 on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.
