Terry Lee Campbell
Terry Lee Campbell, age 59 of Liberty Center formerly of Toledo, passed away Sunday, June 12th, 2005 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo after a short battle with lung cancer. He was born November 13th, 1945 to Clifford H. and Delores V. (Brown) Campbell in Toledo. Terry was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving his country. He was employed as a Youth Corrections Officer with the State of Ohio for 18years. Terry then went on to work with the Toledo Correctional Institute for 2 years and completed his ministry as a chaplain with the Toledo Hospital. He was a very compassionate person and gave freely of his time to all who needed him. He was active for many years as a basketball coach for church and neighborhood youth leagues.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Kellie (Darrell) Bell of Toledo and son, Wayne Campbell of Perrysburg; grandchildren, Darrell- Kellie and Seneca Bell; special friend, Ella McCadney and many dear friends.
The family will receive guests Saturday from 12-2:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Chaplain Carole Bohn.
A special thank you to the entire staff of Northwest Ohio Hospice for the loving care and support they provided.
