Terri Lynn (Finch) Mills, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born May 4th, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to Leo and Carolyn Finch. She is preceded in death by her father, Leo, and grandparents Harold and Lucille Askins.
She is survived by mother, Carol; sons, Christopher (Kayleigh), and Matthew (Melissa); siblings, Timothy (Angie) and Sherry (John); and grandchildren, Brayden and Macy.
She worked very hard for many years at Sylvania Public Schools as a bus driver, lunch lady, and maintenance worker. Terri was voted employee of the year before her retirement in 2017. She loved being a mother and devoted many hours to being with her grandchildren. Terri had many friends who enjoyed her fun personality and beautiful soul.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd., Toledo, OH (419-392-9500) followed by a Gathering at the Joseph W. Diehn Post #468, 5580 Centennial Road, Sylvania, OH 43560. Burial will be private.
