Terese Burgard

Terese M. Burgard (Terry), age 63, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Terry was a graduate of Rodgers High School. Her children and grandchildren were the most important things in her life and they enjoyed making crafts together, especially at the holiday season. Terry loved to do puzzles and she had an insatiable appetite for reading, especially romance novels, mystery and thrillers, or books that took her mind on adventures around the world.

She will be sadly missed by her family, especially her daughters Mary Burgard and Lisa (fiancé Damon Foreman) Burgard, grandchildren Tyran, Tyann, Daniel, Emily, and Ashley, and 3 great-grandchildren Tyran Jr., Tyren, and Ja'Kira.
Also surviving are her siblings Shirley Tucholski (fiancé Dan Hill), Janice (Jeff) Moore, Michael (Kathleen) Burgard, Pat (Bob) Pitzen, and Bob, Tom, and Greg Burgard; nieces and nephews Sarah (Jon Kuron) Podgorski, Justin (Tara) Tucholski, Amber (Logan) Swearingen, Joanna (Patrick Rabideau) Martin, Jennifer Martin, Patrick (Angelia) Moore, Jordan Moore, and Dannyn Marie Burgard; also great nieces and nephews Isaiah, Julian, and Jonny; Aubrey and Allie; Reese and Morgan.

Terry was preceded in death by her mother Joanne Kaszynski Burgard, father Robert Burgard, and sisters Marie Burgard Martin and Catherine (Cathy) Gilbert.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent's RHVC whose special care helped make her final days easier.

Family will receive visitors on Monday, November 21 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. from 2–7:00 p.m. Memorial service will follow visitation hours.
