Tammi L. Ward, age 28, of Sylvania, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 16, 1987 to Cheryl (Schroeder) Ward in Sylvania. Tammi was a graduate of Sylvania Northview High School and she obtained her Associates Degree from Owens Community College in Criminal Justice. For the past 3 years she worked as a Correctional Officer for the Toledo Correctional Facility. Tammi was the proud mother of Ryleigh Hope, she was her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, family, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steeler's and living life to its fullest. Her family will dearly miss her, her wonderful sense of humor and her "Tiffany."
Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted wife, Sarah Aldrich; daughter, Ryleigh Hope Ward; mother, Cheryl Ward; sister, Natalie (Matt) Ward; brother, Benjamin Ward; nieces, Alyvia Grace and Blythe Riley; her boy, Jack; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, a host of dear friends and co-workers.
The family will receive guests from 2-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
