Tamara S. Mcnair

Tamara S. "Tami" McNair, age 59, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 1, 2009 in her home. She was born on October 23, 1949 to Stanley and Muriel (Brooks) Balonek in Toledo. Tami was most recently employed with the Franciscan Care Center. She loved to travel and to golf. Tami often enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nickalynn Balonek, sisters, Tamara Ann and Stacey Balonek and brother, Randall Balonek. Tami is survived by her son, Kenneth (Linda) Szych; mother, Muriel Balonek; grandchildren, Austin, David, Justin, Korie and Siehra; siblings, Cynthia (Terry) Whittaker, Jeffrey (Robyn), Mitch (Elfriede), and Tracey (Janet) Balonek; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Hutchison. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
