Tamara "Tammy" Sue Rutkowski

Tamara “Tammy” Rutkowski, a beloved member of the Toledo community, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024, at the age of 62. 

Tammy was a vibrant and caring spirit whose kindness, infectious laughter, and generous heart touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Above all, Tammy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family was the center of her world.

Her legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Tammy had an extraordinary ability to make a difference in the lives of others, always offering a helping hand with a smile. Whether through her career in the auto industry or her various other endeavors, she spread joy and kindness far and wide, leaving an impact that cannot be measured.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Timothy Rutkowski; her daughter, Amanda (Jeremy) Bailey; her sons, Ryan (Chelsey) Rutkowski and Kyle Rutkowski; and her beloved grandchildren, Avery and Knox, whom she adored. Tammy also had a beautiful fur baby Talula. She is also survived by her four brothers, Ron, Russ, Dennis, and Doug, and her two sisters, Missy and Mindy. 

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Sue Lett.

A celebration of Tammy’s life will take place at The Back 40, 5215 Monroe St., Toledo, Ohio 43623, on December 1, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Tammy’s warmth and generosity are invited to join together to honor her memory and the profound impact she had on so many.
