Suzanne Weaner

Born Suzanne L. Schroeder in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of Franklin and Florence Schroeder, deceased and sister to Richard Schroeder who survives. A graduate of DeVilbiss high school in 1952, Suzanne attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio where she was a sister of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. She graduated in 1956. Sue spent much of her life in Toledo, Columbus, and Defiance, Ohio as well as the Bay area in California. She was a mother, homemaker and as well, worked professionally in the legal and insurance fields. Suzanne was an avid golfer, bowler, tennis player, bridge partner and pianist. She enjoyed her Christian community volunteering for a variety of religious activities and agencies. Sue was also very active in numerous social organizations including Salmagundi, Lutheran Social Services, Community Concert Series, PTA, Band Boosters, Cub Scouts of America Den Mother among many others. A lover of all animals, her personal passion was that of Black Cocker Spaniels. Sue is also survived by her three sons David John Weaner (Michele McAdams), Thomas Franklin Weaner (Rita Berry) and James Karl Weaner (wife-Lisa). Sue is loved very much and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012, 12:00 noon at All Saints Lutheran Church located at 5445 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, Ohio 43614. Visitation will be held 2 hrs prior to the service.

Suzanne will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery located on Central Avenue.
