Suzanne T. Whiteaker

Suzanne T. "Sue" Whiteaker, age 74, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 1, 2015 at home surrounded by loving family. She was born on February 14, 1941 to Ignatius J. and Genevieve (Kmiec) Czerniak in Toledo. Sue was a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church and before that Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Toledo Choral Society, Glee Club at Central Catholic and an associate of the Franciscan Sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen Morris and Valerie Ayres and brother, Michael Czerniak. Sue is survived by her loving daughters, Carmen Whiteaker and Audrey (William) Bradford; granddaughter, Alicia (Patrick); siblings, Francine Niewiedzial and James (Becky) Czerniak; and many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Prayers will begin in the funeral home Monday at 11:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
