Suzanne Y. Dufour

Suzanne Y. "Auntie" Dufour, age 57, of Toledo, formerly of Manchester, Connecticut passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. She was born on May 26, 1964 to Jerry and Noella (Byram) Dufour in Connecticut. Suzanne graduated in 1982 from Coventry High School. She enjoyed baking and was known for her brownies. Suzanne collected owls, tigers and lighthouses. She liked being on the water. Suzanne loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially all of her nieces and nephews. She especially liked Pokémon hunting with her niece, Sam and great-nephews, Rylan and Braden. Suzanne's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her infant nephew, Taylor Jerry Manville. Left to cherish Suzanne's memory is her loving mother, Noella Dufour; siblings, Denise Dufour-McAvoy, Colette Hornik, Jerry (Caprice) Dufour Jr. and Brenda (Jerry) Milhomme; nieces and nephews, Samantha, Aimée, Christi-Anne, Jerry III, Matthew, Daniel, Nicole and Keith Woods; great-nieces and great-nephews, Rylan, Braden, Mason, Eternity, Nasia, and Nehemiah; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Memorial Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
