Suzan Lynn Thatcher, 63, of Walbridge, OH, passed away Monday February 9th, 2015, surrounded by her three children, numerous grandchildren, sisters, brother and extended family. Suzan was born on October 9th, 1951 to Harold and Roberta Galbraith of Monclova, OH.
Suzan was retired having worked eight years at Gendron, Inc. in Bryan, OH. She was an entrepreneur and owned various businesses through-out her life. She enjoyed embroidery, sewing, candle-making, blanket-creating, and spending time in Tennessee with her sisters. But, most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is survived by her three children: Corey (Louise) Cowell of Woodville, OH; Rob Thatcher of Millbury, OH; and Tracey (Chad Ludeman) Moyer of Waterville, OH. Her grandchildren: James (Dawn), Megan (Greg), Nicole, Hunter (Kendra), Saige, Josh, Dalton, Brandon, Chloe, Kennedy. Five great-grandchildren: Tyler, Zachary, James, Kori Lyn and Carson. Eight siblings Vickie (David) Allen, Becky Taylor, Mike (Denise) Galbraith, Sharon (Kenneth) Wilson, Karen (Daryl) Weaver, Sandy (Dave) Komisarek, Gayann Stone, and Dean (Denise) Galbraith. She is preceded in death by parents Harold and Roberta Galbraith and Brother-in-law Dave Taylor.
Visitation and celebration of life will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home on Heatherdowns in Toledo, OH from 2 pm until 8 pm. The funeral will be conducted on Saturday, February 14th at 10 am followed by a reception in Northwood, OH. The details will be provided at the funeral home.
