Susan Kay Riley

Susan Kay Riley age 76 of Maumee, Ohio woke up in the arms of Jesus on May 31, 2024. She was born in Ft. Wayne, IN on June 14, 1947 to Fred and Teresa (Manett) Friedman.

Susie attended Maumee High School and was employed at Taystee Bread and later as a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, traveling, cards, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family especially her grandkids. Susie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Toledo.

Surviving is her husband of 27 years, Gary Riley; sons, Michael (Shelly) Stultz, James (Julie) Stultz; daughter, Shannon (Donald) Achey; grandchildren, Michael, Merranda, Kennedy, Caleb, Nicole, Tyler, Owen, Zachary, Kylie, Sabrina and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Sheri Ash; brother in-law, Joe (Chrissy) Riley; nephew, Ryan Riley and special friend, Jan Hoffman. Susie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David and Kenny Friedman.

Family and friends will be received at Trinity Lutheran Church 4560 Glendale Ave., Toledo on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Funeral services will begin immediately following visitation at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to Trinity Lutheran Church.
