Susan M. (Managhan) Hoblit

Susan Marie (Managhan) Hoblit, 68, of Toledo, OH, went to live with the Lord on August 27, 2021. She was born to the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Schreiber) Managhan. Sue was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing word search puzzles. She loved spending time with her family especially spoiling her grandchildren. Sue looked forward to her weekly visits from her sister, Ginny. Christmas and Easter were her favorite holidays and she always would go all out decorating for them; something everyone will remember. Sue's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, L.C. Gray; brothers, Samuel and Robert Managhan; and brother-in-law, Richard Fisher. Left to cherish Sue's memory are her two daughters, Kerri Hoblit and Patti (Marshall) Croley; son, Scott (Alicia) Hoblit; grandchildren, Robert Moser, Marissa (Angel) Hoblit, Brianna Kachenmeister, and Lana Lang ; great-grandsons, David and Marshall Vicente; two sisters, Ginny Fisher and Barbara (Redwan) Ebrahim; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends who mourn her passing.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 3 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ft. Meig's Union Cemetery.
