Susan M. Mousoulias

Susan M. Mousoulias, 56, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Flower Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Robert and Margie (Stifel) Syzmanski in Lincoln Park, Michigan on November 17, 1959.

Sue attended Central Catholic High School and graduated in 1976. She worked in the Sylvania School District for many years aiding students with special needs.

Sue married the love of her life, Donald Mousoulias on February 28, 1984 in Toledo, Ohio. They were married 32 wonderful years. Together they raised two incredible children, Donny and Rachel. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandson, Brayden, who was her "special sunshine."

Sue's infectious laughter will be missed. You could never help but laugh along too. Sue was a loving and caring wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. All who knew her will miss her greatly.

Sue was preceded in death by her father, Robert. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald; son, Donny; daughter, Rachel; grandson, Brayden; mother, Margie; brother, Bob (Sue) Szymanski and best friend, Cindy. Sue also leaves behind loving nieces and nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, aunts, uncle, cousins, friends and family dog, Precious, who will cherish her in memory.

The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and excellent care Sue received during her hospitalization. The sensitivity and support of the staff will never be forgotten.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 3-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
