Susan A. Lutz

Susan A. Lutz, age 75, of Toledo, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1943 to Robert and Hazel M. (Baird) Reinlein in Detroit, Michigan. In her younger years she was a talented equestrian and had a love for horses. For many years she had her own dog grooming business that she operated out of her home. Susan enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, crafting, cooking and canning, feeding the neighborhood birds and squirrels and providing a loving home for many stray animals.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kris (Jeff) Holsten, Troy Lutz, Mike (Dawn) Lutz and Todd (Cindy) Lutz; grandchildren, Courtney, Jordan, Kelsey, Casey, Storm, Hunter, Dominick and Breann and canine companion, Sheba. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert R. Lutz in 2006.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Her Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
