Sue Lichty was born February 20th, 1936 and peacefully re-united with
her family January 2nd, 2012.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Sheryl Dingus; daughters, Bev Carter, Debbie Ingle, Peggy (Zuhair) Al-Sharari, Brandi (Tony Rodriguez)Lichty; son, Skip Christian; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sue volunteered at Westfield grade school as a Teacher's Aide for many years. She was loved and respected by all, as she received numerous awards from the school and faculty. Sue was lovingly called "Grandma Sue" by many of the students. She was also a Blade carrier for over 15 years.
Sue had a special place in her heart for animals, as she always took care of
the strays in the neighborhood. She loved festivals and worked in many
of Toledo's parades. She was feisty, independent, spoke her mind, a great mother, neighbor and friend.
