Susan Lynn Kleeberger

Susan "Sue" Lynn Kleeberger (Oberle), age 72, of Toledo, Ohio went home to the Lord on Friday, January 7, 2022. She was born on March 29, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio to the late William and Helen Oberle.
Sue was a certified pharmacy technician and worked for St. Vincent's Hospital for 42 years. She was a licensed massage therapist and donated her time to the Victory Center, giving massages and lending a listening ear to cancer patients. Although these are great achievements, her biggest accomplishment was earning her certificate through the Emmanuel Bible Institute as she loved the Lord and loved studying His word. Sue was an active member and employee of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was very passionate about sharing the good news of the Gospel.
Sue is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mark, her children Kelly Griffin, Kristin (Brian) Krokowski, Mark (Emily) Kleeberger, and Matthew Kleeberger, her grandchildren, Claire Griffin, Megan (Jurman Leveston) Griffin, Isaac Holley, William Kleeberger, Kathryn Kleeberger, Ruby Krokowski, and Rowan Krokowski, great-granddaughter Nora Leveston, her siblings Jeff Oberle and Deborah (Charles) Kistner, her best friend, Sue Bryston, her beloved dog, Josie, and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends may gather at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, at 10:00 am until services at 11:00 am, with Deacon Hunter Turner officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
Per request, the family would like everyone that is attending visitation and/or funeral, to wear a face covering.
For those that cannot make it to funeral home, Emmanuel Baptist Church will be streaming the funeral on their website.
